  • Alzheimer’s Research UK is a leading dementia research charity specialising in finding preventions, causes, treatments and a cure for dementia.

 

  • Alzheimer’s Society is a membership organisation, which works to improve the quality of life of people affected by dementia in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

 

 

  • Bipolar Education Programme Cymru is an educational programme which aims to improve participants’ understanding of bipolar disorder and also aims to provide benefits in terms of quality of life and experience of symptoms.

 

  • Bipolar UK is a national charity dedicated to supporting individuals with the much misunderstood and devastating condition of bipolar, their families and carers.

 

  • Diverse Cymru is Wales’ first all equalities charity. Its mission is to eliminate discrimination and inequality in Wales.

 

  • Hafal is a leading charity for people with serious mental illness and their carers.

 

  • Mencap is a leading charity which works with people with a learning disability to change laws, challenge prejudice and support them to live their lives as they choose.

 

 

  • Mind Cymru provide advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem, and campaign to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding.

 

 

  • The National Exercise Referral Scheme (NERS) is a Welsh Government funded scheme for those with or at risk of developing a range of chronic diseases, including mental health problems. Health professionals refer patients to undertake a programme of exercise, supervised by a fully qualified exercise professional.

 

 

 

  • Time to Change Wales is the first national campaign in Wales to end the stigma and discrimination faced by people with mental health problems.

 

  • Techniquest aims to engage people with science and to motivate them to learn more.
